Have you heard the buzz?  Today is World Bee Day! 

CRS is a friend to the honeybee, and knows that beekeeping can be life-changing. 

In the yellow suit, Ever Antonio Rios is a 17-year-old high school student from a low-income family in rural area of Somoto, Nicaragua. In his last year of high school, he graduated from CRS YouthBuild - an entrepreneurial and vocational training program - in beekeeping and entrepreneurship. He created a business plan for his beekeeping business and now has 18 beehives. He supports his family with the earnings from the honey, and teaches other YouthBuild youth about beekeeping.

In a yellow suit, Ever Antonio Rios, is part of the hive!  After being trained in a CRS-supported program, the 17-year-old high school student built his own beekeeping business.  He now has 18 thriving hives!  He supports his family with the earnings from the honey, and gives back by teaching others about beekeeping. 

Who knew giving could be so sweet? 

Today, in honor of honeybees around the world, we are asking you to join our hive! 

A beehive costs $410. That investment can change the lives of so many, and help keep the honeybee population growing. For World Bee Day, we are coming together to buy FOUR BEEHIVES, but we need your help!
